SnipeU ("we," "us," "our") is an augmented reality game that blends virtual gameplay with real-world movement and interaction. Game players engage in virtual "sniper" battles using their mobile devices. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SnipeU mobile application ("App") and related services ("Services"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Account Registration

1.1 You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. If you do not meet these requirements, do not use the App.

2. User Account

You must register an account to access the App. You agree to provide accurate information and update it as necessary. You are responsible for all activities under your account. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

3. Photographs and In-Game Privacy

3.1 Private Gameplay with Known Participants

• The App is designed to be played only with people you know in real life.
• All games are private and by invitation only.
• To join a game, users must receive a unique access code provided by the game creator.
• Public matchmaking or gameplay with unknown players is not supported or permitted.

By using the App, you agree to only play in games with individuals you know and to respect the privacy and boundaries of all participants.

3.2 Photographs as Gameplay Mechanics

Gameplay is centered around taking photographs ("snipes") of other players within your team-based game. These photographs:

• Are used solely for validating in-game actions (i.e., determining whether a "snipe" was successful).
• Can only be viewed by players participating in that specific game session.
• Are subject to a voting mechanism within the game — players determine whether a photo meets the criteria for a valid snipe.
• Are not visible to users outside the active game session and are never made public.

3.3 Photograph Storage and Deletion

• Photographs taken during gameplay are stored temporarily on the App's servers for a period of 8 days following the conclusion of a game.
• After this period, photos are automatically deleted from our servers.
• Users may manually delete their photos earlier or save them locally to their own devices before the 8-day period expires.
• If a user deletes their account, any associated photographs will also be deleted.

3.4 No Third-Party Facial Recognition

• The App uses an in-app photo validation system based on internal image analysis and peer voting.
• No third-party facial recognition systems or biometric databases are used.
• Facial data is not processed or stored externally, and no facial mapping is shared outside the App.

4. Use of the Services

4.1 Real-World Risk and Responsibility

The App is a game played in physical environments using phone cameras. You are solely responsible for your safety and the safety of others while using the App. You are expected to exercise caution and sound judgment when participating in real-world gameplay.

WARNING: CoPi Studios LLC disclaims any liability for personal injury, property damage, legal violations, or other harm arising from your use of the App. Play at your own risk.

4.2 SnipeU Community Code of Conduct

To foster a positive, safe, and fair shared experience, all users must comply with the following expectations at all times—both during gameplay and in real-world interactions:

• You will maintain safe and appropriate interactions with other players and the general public while using the App.
• You will not harass, stalk, threaten, or otherwise violate the legal rights of other individuals.
• You will not trespass, or attempt to access any private property or location where you do not have permission to be.
• You will not engage in any conduct that may result in injury, death, property damage, nuisance, or legal liability of any kind, whether to yourself or others.
• You will not take unauthorized, invasive, or non-consensual photographs of individuals.
• You will not spoof, hack, tamper with, or otherwise manipulate the App or its gameplay mechanics.
• You will not upload, share, or transmit any obscene, hateful, discriminatory, illegal, or offensive content through the App.

WARNING: You are solely responsible for your conduct while using the App. Any violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice.

5. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability

5.1 Real-World Gameplay Risks

By using the SnipeU application ("App"), you acknowledge and agree that the Services involve real-world interaction and physical activity, which may expose you to a variety of inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Physical injury, accidents, or property damage resulting from running, hiding, crouching, navigating terrain, or interacting with others while playing the game
• Dangerous or unsafe environments, including streets, stairwells, parks, private property, or unfamiliar areas
• Interaction with strangers or members of the public
• Legal consequences from trespassing or entering restricted areas without permission
• Risks associated with camera usage, facial recognition, and location tracking

5.2 Assumption of Risk

You voluntarily assume all risks — known and unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable — associated with your use of the App, including those resulting from the negligence of others, and acknowledge that you use the App entirely at your own risk.

5.3 Waiver of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you hereby release and hold harmless CoPi Studios LLC, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, injuries, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from or related to your access to or use of the App.

5.4 Exclusion of Certain Damages

Under no circumstances shall CoPi Studios LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages; loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses.

5.5 Limitation of Total Liability

To the extent any liability is found, the total liability of CoPi Studios LLC to you for all claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the greater of (a) $100 or (b) the amount you paid to the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

6. Privacy Assurance and Data Usage

• Photographs taken during gameplay are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties, including advertisers.
• All photographic content is limited to in-game use only and is retained solely for gameplay functionality, integrity, and fairness.
• CoPi Studios LLC complies with applicable privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

7. Ad-supported Access and Paid Monthly Subscriptions

The App offers either free, ad-supported access or a paid "ad-free" subscription. In the free version:

• Users must watch video ads to continue using certain in-game actions.
• A video ad must be watched after every three photos ("snipes") or three "blocks" are used.
• Watching one ad restores either snipes or blocks, but not both.
• A short video ad plays the first time a player enters a new game.

An optional monthly subscription is available that removes all ads and grants unlimited access to snipes and blocks. All in-app purchases are final and non-refundable.

8. Content Ownership

All content in the App, including text, images, design, and mechanics, is owned by CoPi Studios LLC or its licensors. You may not reproduce or distribute without permission.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may also request account deletion via snipeuofficial@gmail.com.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, security, or accuracy. You use the App at your own risk.

11. Governing Law & Arbitration

These Terms are governed by the laws of Virginia. Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration, with no right to jury trial or class action. You may opt out within 30 days of accepting these Terms by emailing snipeuofficial@gmail.com.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
